Bill Belichick Foundation teams up with ASICS to surprise Team Belichick Boston Marathon runners

On April 9th, Coach Belichick and Linda Holliday arrived at Marathon Sports located across from the Boston Marathon finish line to meet The Bill Belichick Foundation’s seven Boston Marathon runners. The Bill Belichick Foundation teamed up with ASICS to surprise Team Belichick at an intimate meet and greet with a custom sneaker along with the footwear line’s limited edition Gel-Cumulus 20 Boston sneaker in addition to plenty of team swag for race day. The ASICS team sneaker was enhanced by artist known as Joe V Designs of Ludlow, MA. After meeting Coach and Linda, Team Belichick got a private shopping experience at Marathon Sports after hours where ASICS corporate employees fit each runner for a fresh pair of running sneakers as well.

The evening was put together by the Bill Belichick Foundation in partnership with ASICS and Marathon Sports to celebrate Team Belichick’s seven Boston Marathon runners  Tyler Wiseman, Drew Harrington,  Brenda Iafrate, AJ Andreucci, Briana Lee,  Samantha Kruger and  Kelsey Duryea, who have been fundraising and training for the 123rd Boston Marathon on Monday, April 15th. Proceeds raised from Team Belichick will support the BBF’s grant and scholarship program providing sports equipment and financial assistance to student athletes and athletic programs in need across the country. Team Belichick, sponsored by South Coast Dermatology & Cosmetic Center and South Coastal Animal Health, is part of John Hancock’s Boston Marathon nonprofit program.
